Green Fortnight organised by Transition Town Bridport kicks off with an evening focusing on the impact of plastics on our environment and what we can do locally as individuals to reduce this.

We have presentations from Charlie Wild of Litter-Free Dorset talking about their campaigns working the community to reduce marine and beach litter. Well-known local story-teller Martin Maudsley will be weaving a story around plastic. We’ll also be launching our local “plastic-free” directory. Other groups attending will be Marine Life, West Dorset Friends of the Earth and Zero Waste Group. Free admission, come along and help us launch the Fortnight !
