The Bridport Soup is back crowdfunding local community projects!

The third Bridport Soup will take place on Wednesday 20th June in the Main Hall at the United Church on East Street, organised by the team participating in Stir to Action’s Unlocking the Next Economy programme.

The idea is simple: For £4 you get a bowl of soup made from locally sourced produce and a vote. During the evening four local projects will each deliver a four-minute pitch about their project, its community benefits and what the funding will support. Each pitch is then followed by four or five questions from the audience, and then the crowd votes. The winning project receives the takings from the door and pledges to share how they’ve used their funding at the next Soup.

Sign up via Eventbrite to confirm your place and ‘Pay What You Feel’ on the night (Suggested contribution £4 upwards).

If you’ve got a great idea and would like to pitch on the evening, then fill out our simple application form at Application deadline is 7th June 2018.

Finally, contribute to the music on the night by making an addition to the event’s Spotify playlist. Soup (bread, vegetable) related songs.

Thanks to the kind folks at Southern Roots Organics CSA, who are supplying the vegetables!
