Christchurch Community Partnership will be hosting the first ever “Christchurch Soup Event”. During the evening there will be an opportunity for the sponsors of up to 5 local community projects to each make a 5 minute pitch – the lucky winners taking away all the monies collected during the evening.
Voting for the winning project will be simply, after the presentations there will be soup and a roll (paid for the princely sum of £5 on arrival) and by placing your bowl in the appropriate washing up bowl, the successful project will be the one with the “most washing up”!!

There have already been a number of successful SOUP events across Dorset with two in Bridport, two in Boscombe and one in Winton.
The SOUP events are modelled on the DETROIT SOUP and more information can be found on their website, where you will find all the resources you need to host your own SOUP event in your community.
