A day hosted by Wimborne War on Waste in partnership with Wimborne BID raising awareness of the disposable coffee cup.

We have the Dorset Scrapstore, Litter Free Dorset and others joining us, alongside live music, family activities, a quiz, raffle and eco-friendly prizes!
Wimborne War on Waste is a group of local Wimborne residents who want to reduce the amount of disposable coffee cups used and thrown away in the town.
We would like Wimborne to become a ‘disposable coffee cup free town’!
We encourage customers and cafes to use re-usable cups, and if they have to have disposables to make them compostable. We also encourage people to say no to single-use plastic, such as straws!
