Creating a Drain Trail to Poole Park Lakes and Lagoon!
Did you know the street drains outside your home are only designed to take rainfall, and head untreated, straight to Poole Park lakes and lagoon? The Poole Park Life ‘Only Rain down the Drain’ campaign, working with the Litter Free Coast and Sea team, will inform local residents and businesses on what they can do to help prevent pollution.
Working with volunteers and Wessex Water, a trail of around 40 drains inside and outside of Poole Park will be marked using stencils and environmentally-friendly chalk spray. If you would to volunteer to help mark the drains, please get in touch!
