A day to celebrate what can be achieved without the use of SINGLE USE plastics. To encourage rethinking, reusing and reducing.
A traditional community event with plenty of ‘plastic free’ activities, workshops, stalls, live music and we even have a solar disco!
Picnic tables will line the High Street and will be laid with our very own crockery – no disposables here!
Food is not provided. PLEASE bring a container or plate (not disposable) of your favourite food to share.
As always, our local cafes will also be open to sell tasty snacks.
The day is about inspiring, enabling, sharing ideas and celebrating those businesses, groups and individuals who have already made significant changes in their use of single use plastic.
