An afternoon of celebrating inspirational women who have stood up for social justice & political reform. We tell their stories through the performing arts and debate.

– Nikki Clark co founder of South West Against Nuclear and Stop New Nuclear will be our guest speaker for the afternoon. Nikki, a veteran opposer of the development of Hinkley Point C will be talking about the campaigns. There will be time for questions

-The Cartoon Action Theatre will be doing a performance of their play about the 1912 Bridport Wildcat strike. Written by Lucy Goodison and directed by Margie Barbour.

-The Rebellious Women Scratch Choir will open the event

-Open Mic. There will be time for anyone to give a shout out to a woman who has inspired them, be it either through song, poetry or prose. Max 5 mins.

-Teas and coffees will be served.
Suggested donation of £5 on the door.
