RESURGENCE & ECOLOGIST READERS’ GROUP
Please join us for our bi-monthly Saturday meetup. In the morning we’ll be chatting about “Resurgence & Ecologist” articles on environmental issues, social justice or ethical living, followed by an opportunity to see the film ‘Demain’ (‘Tomorrow’).
This uplifting documentary explores constructive solutions to resolve the world’s current environmental and socio-economic crises and won the 2016 César Award for Best Documentary Film. “Tomorrow’ provides a comprehensive look at ways in which activists, organisers and everyday citizens are trying to make the world a better, greener, more sustainable place.” (Hollywood Reporter Reviews website)
The film runs for 118 minutes and includes sections in French and Hindi with English subtitles, so don’t forget to bring your distance specs if you need them!
At the end of the film there will be an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings about this thought-provoking documentary over a cuppa.
This will be a free entry event, but a donation of at least £5 would be much appreciated to cover the cost of this film, the Hilfield Friary venue and refreshments provided.
Please remember to bring your own lunch as the Friary does not offer catering or food sales for day visitors.
