Event Venue

Hilfield Friary, Dorchester DT2 7BE

Please join us for our bi-monthly Hilfield meetup, with the morning centred on “Resurgence & Ecologist” articles on the environment, activism, social justice & ethical living. In the afternoon Charlie Wild from ‘Litter Free Coast & Sea‘ and ‘Litter Free Dorset’ will be presenting a talk and discussions on the theme of ‘PLASTIC FISH ANYONE?’ to raise awareness of the shocking problem of plastic waste polluting the sea and our food chain.

Our Dorset-based readers’ group meets bi-monthly on a Saturday or Sunday at Hilfield Friary (if you haven’t come across ‘Resurgence’, we would highly recommend subscribing, as it’s an excellent, non-profit bi-monthly magazine).

This is a free entry meetup, but a donation of at least £5 would be much appreciated to cover costs for this lovely venue and refreshments.  Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, but please bring your own picnic lunch, and walking boots or wellies if you’d like to walk round the beautiful Friary grounds.
