Please join us for our bi-monthly Saturday meetup, with the morning centred on “Resurgence & Ecologist” articles on the environment, activism, social justice & ethical living.
In the afternoon you will have an opportunity to see ‘What the Health’, the groundbreaking follow-up film from Kip Andersen & Keegan Kuhn, the Directors of the award-winning film ‘Cowspiracy’, this time exposing the collusion and corruption in government and big business that is costing us vast sums, whilst actually keeping us sick. The film examines the link between diet and disease, and the huge profits at stake in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries.
‘What The Health’ is a surprising, and at times hilarious, investigative documentary that will be an eye-opener for everyone concerned about our nation’s health and how big business influences it.
At the end of the film there will be an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings about this thought-provoking documentary over a cuppa. This will be a free entry event, but a donation of at least £5 would be much appreciated to cover the cost of this film, the Hilfield Friary venue and refreshments provided.
