Charles Miller will be presenting a talk entitled ‘Beneath our Feet’, looking at the forces that shape our world and cause earthquakes, volcanos and tsunamis, including the often catastrophic interactions between modern industry and the earth’s crust, e.g. earthquakes etc caused by unconventional hydraulic fracking, and nuclear power stations built on or near fault-lines. As usual, this will be a free entry event (donations welcome), with refreshments available, There is ample parking in Beres Yard by the Museum.
