Event Venue

Blandford Museum, Beres Yard (alley opposite the church in Market Place), Blandford DT11 7DQ

Please join us for a special ‘healthy-eating event’ with vegan wines and cheeses in the garden next to the Museum from 6pm (provided by CARIAD wholefoods), and an opportunity to see ‘What the Health’ from 7.30pm.

This new documentary is a groundbreaking follow-up film from the Directors of the award-winning film ‘Cowspiracy’, Kip Andersen & Keegan Kuhn, this time exposing the collusion and corruption in government and big business that is costing us vast sums, whilst actually keeping us sick.

The film examines the link between diet and disease, and the huge profits at stake in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries. ‘What The Health’ is a surprising, and at times hilarious, investigative documentary that will be an eye-opener for everyone concerned about our nation’s health and how big business influences it.

At the end of the film there will be an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings about this thought-provoking documentary over a cuppa. This will be a free entry event, with free parking in Beres Yard next to the Museum, but donations would be much appreciated to cover the costs of the film, venue and refreshments provided.
