BREG’s purpose has been to provide information about renewable energy, to influence government policy on renewable energy, and to implement renewable energy projects. Currently our main activity is as a member of the climate change working group contributing the Bridport and Surrounding Parishes Neighbourhood Plan (see http://www.vision-2030.co.uk). BREG has a number of legacy items from previous projects and which are available for use in the community, the most popular of which is the exercise bike generator.
Sustainable Dorset is delighted to have been chosen by leading Dorset law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP as their charity of the year 2018. Blanchards Bailey, has four offices across Dorset in Blandford, Weymouth, Dorchester, and Shaftesbury. Its 70-strong colleagues will be fund-raising for our charity throughout the year and raising awareness of sustainability through its many staff, associates and clients.
