As a local group East Dorset Friends of the Earth is affiliated to National Friends of the Earth and campaigns on both local and global issues.
On global issues the group follows the strategy outlined by National Friends of the Earth but on local matters works very much on its own; although the group can always call on the expertise of the full time campaigners when necessary.
The Group has been going for more than 40 years and relies on volunteers to build on the successes of the past so new members are always welcome.
We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at Eastcliff URC Hall, St Swithun’s Road (Opp.B’mth Railway Station), 7.30pm
