Highwood Camping in Dorset is set up to be sustainable and energy efficient and is within a flat and free draining hay meadow field. Our showers are solar-powered and our loos are a compost design supplied by thunderboxes2go. Be assured they are clean and efficient.
A large proportion of all the rubbish will be recycled.
There is no electricity on site.
The campsite offers space for 40 pitches spread over 5 acres. Our aim is to have no more than 100 people onsite at any one time, ensuring adequate privacy. We have a further 8 acres that is used for children’s activities and dog walking.
Pre-erected tents available for the season this year 2018. Choose from tipi type tent or bell tent, both 5 metre diameter.
Dogs are welcome if well behaved and tidy up after themselves!
