TOP is an organic community garden & wildlife site in Oakdale, Poole. It is open to anyone with an interest in community gardening. We grow food, promote biodiversity, conserve natural habitats and meet for workdays twice per month.

Our core purpose is: to grow food using solely organic methods; to provide a managed wildlife habitat and promote bio diversity; to provide a focus and stimulus for community action; to encourage the growing of older varieties of vegetables no longer commercially available; to provide a community composting scheme; to introduce novel and improved methods of gardening, making maximum use of recycled and locally obtained materials; to keep record of the garden’s evolution; to encourage whole family involvement; to provide educational facilities for gardening, composting and nature studies.
