Transition Town Poole is a grassroots community group that seeks to build resilience in the town of Poole in response to a changing world. We aim for a low-carbon, socially just, healthier and happier future that brings people together and is gentle on the earth. We support people to convert enthusiasm and ideas into action.

- Turner’s Nursery Community Orchard is a green space in the heart of Parkstone with apples, pears, plums and friendly folk. Find on Facebook
- Zero Waste Poole links people and organizations interested in reducing waste locally. Resources are valued and nothing is wasted. Find on Facebook
- Abundance is all about saving fruit from being wasted. An Annual Apple Day is held in Poole High Street in October. If you have spare fruit or a good use for fruit contact bh.abundance@yahoo.com
- Food Coop – we buy food in bulk together from Essential Coop in Bristol. Maximum ethics; minimum packaging.
