Education

There are 276 schools in Dorset (excluding independent schools), including 191 primary schools, 55 secondary schools, and 7 serving sixth-form education. Four of the county's towns contain a further education college, and the county has two higher education establishments.  A large percentage of our county's population is engaged in our education sector. Small changes in the way Dorset schools approach sustainability can have far-reaching ripple effects. Luckily, there are many schools in our county doing exactly that.
